Cookie policy

Nothing is stored on your device unless you accept it. We use one set of analytics cookies, from Google, and only after you have said yes. There is no advertising network on this site, no social media tracking pixel and no chat widget. If you reject, or ignore the banner entirely, nothing is stored and nothing identifies you.

A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep, so that something can be remembered between pages or between visits. Some are essential to make a site work at all. Others exist to count visitors or to follow people between sites for advertising. The law treats those two groups very differently, and so do we.

Accepting loads Google Tag Manager, which in turn loads Google Analytics. Between them they set cookies whose names begin _ga. They exist to count visits and to show us which pages and services people actually look at, so we can tell what is useful and what is not.

Those cookies typically last up to two years from your last visit, which is Google's setting rather than ours. They tell us nothing about who you are. We see anonymous visit figures, never your name, your number or your email address, and we cannot use them to identify you.

We also record three things that happen on the site: a click on the phone number, a click on the email address, and an enquiry form that sends successfully. Those records say where on the page the link was and which service the enquiry was about. They never contain what you typed into the form.

Your answer to the banner is kept in your browser's local storage under the name bespoke-avs-consent, for about 6 months. It is not a cookie, it is never sent to us or to anyone else, and it exists only so you are not asked the same question on every page.

There is no embedded Google map on the contact page. The directions link is an ordinary outbound link, which means Google is not loaded on our pages and cannot see you unless you choose to click through. There is no Facebook or Instagram tracking pixel, no advertising network, no chat widget and no session recording of any kind. Our social links are plain links.

Use the Cookie settings link in the footer at any time. If you previously accepted and then reject, we delete the Google cookies straight away rather than leaving them to expire. You can also clear cookies through your own browser settings, which works regardless of anything we do.
