One town, several completely different jobs
Maidstone is the county town and it behaves like one. There are terraces close to the centre, post-war and modern estates spreading out from it, substantial older property on the approaches, rural addresses out towards the villages, and a serious amount of commercial floorspace on the industrial estates.
The practical consequence is that two Maidstone jobs a mile apart can want completely different systems. A terrace near the centre is a wired job with limited cable routes and a vulnerable rear. A modern estate house is straightforward. A rural property on the edge has no street lighting, outbuildings that matter more than the house, and often a driveway long enough to be worth covering on its own.

We say Aylesford rather than Maidstone because that is where we genuinely are, and an installer who is vague about their own address is not a good sign.
Do you cover the villages around Maidstone?
Yes, and rural properties change the design more than the distance does. No useful street lighting decides what a camera has to manage after dark, outbuildings often matter more than the house, and a long driveway is usually worth covering in its own right. All workable, all better decided at a survey than over the phone.
