Canterbury splits sharply. The historic core is dense with period and listed buildings, most of it inside a conservation area, and installing anything on the fabric of those buildings needs thought and, on a listed property, consent. Outside the centre it is far more conventional: ordinary suburban housing and estates where the work is straightforward.
Those two need pricing and planning differently, and a quote that treats them the same is a quote from somebody who has not looked. On a period building the constraints are what can be fixed to a visible elevation, where a cable can physically go, and whether the wall construction will let a wireless system work at all. Thick historic masonry very often will not.
